Biometric system in Vijayawada govt hospital soon: Collector
Treatment facilities should be improved in government hospitals to win the confidence of people, said National Health Mission (NHM) Vigilance and Monitoring Committee chairman and Machilipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana.He said the services available at government hospitals should be publicised.
Officials asked to improve medical facilities in Govt hospitals
Vijayawada: Treatment facilities should be improved in government hospitals to win the confidence of people, said National Health Mission (NHM) Vigilance and Monitoring Committee chairman and Machilipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana.He said the services available at government hospitals should be publicised.
He said awareness programmes should be organised on health services being provided by the government hospitals. The village-level health committees should organise meetings on third Saturday of every month. Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas said that government hospital authorities should submit a report on the utilisation of funds for better management of funds.
Krishna District Collector Babu A said that biometric system would be introduced in Government hospital, Vijayawada. He said 100 nursing posts would be filled soon. He asked the health officials to carry out vaccination programme and update the records online.
Mayor Koneru Sridhar, MLC B Nageswara Rao, Sub-Collector G Srujana, Assistant Collector Saloni Sudan, DMHO N Nagamalleswari and others were present.
