Arun Jaitley heaps praises on Telugu states
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley who kick started the week-day programme in Vigyana Bhavan in New Delhi on Monday showered praises on both the Telugu states - AP and Telangana for focusing on the increase of drinking and irrigation water.
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley who kick-started the weekday programme in Vigyana Bhavan in New Delhi on Monday showered praises on both the Telugu states - AP and Telangana for focusing on the increase of drinking and irrigation water.
Pointing out to AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's special emphasis on interlinking of rivers, Arun Jaitley commended the feat of Interlinking the rivers in the country through the Pattiseema Project and expressed confidence over Chandrababu completing the Pattiseema project.
The Finance Minister also pointed out Telangana government's schemes initiated to provide water for drinking, irrigation and over the water shortage. Appreciating the efforts made by the two governments, Arun Jaitley said that the drought-prone areas such as Ananthapur district are about to turn green.
