District Cooperative Central Bank vice-chairman poll on April 12
Election to the post of vice-chairman of the District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) will be held on April 12. The election was necessitated after G Suryaprakash Reddy stepped down from the vice-chairman post a few months ago. Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies and OSD Srinivasa Reddy was appointed as the returning officer.

As per the election notification issued on Monday, nominations will be accepted from candidates from 9 am to 11:30 am on April 12. Scrutiny of nominations will be held at 12 noon. Candidates can withdraw their nominations before 2 pm. If the contest is inevitable, polling will be held from 3 to 5 pm through secret ballot. After the end of polling, counting of votes will be taken up and the election result will be declared.
