The YSR Congress party leaders paid rich tributes to late Dr Babu Jagjivan Ram at the party district office on the occasion of the 109th birth anniversary of the departed leaderon Tuesday.
Vijayawada: The YSR Congress party leaders paid rich tributes to late Dr Babu Jagjivan Ram at the party district office on the occasion of the 109th birth anniversary of the departed leaderon Tuesday. District party president Kolusu Parthasarathy, district Mahila Vibhagam president K Gnanamani, Rytu Vibhagam district president K Rajasekhar, West constituency leader M A Baig, floor leaders in the VMC, D Punyaseela, corporator Subhashini and others present on the occasion.
The party leaders garlanded the portrait of the Dr Babu Jagjivan Ram and recalled his services to the nation. The leaders speaking on the occasion said, the party was committed for the development and welfare of all sections of society particularly the Dalits. The leaders also decided to conduct the birth anniversary celebrations of Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar at the party office on April 14 in a grand manner.
