Amalapuram: Four youngsters were arrested for their alleged involvement in three murders by the Amalapuram Rural Police on Thursday. Investigation revealed their involvement in the murder case registered by the Ambajipet police in 2012.
Interrogation of the accused Kumpatla Prasada Rao, Koppineedi Durgaprasad, Koppineedi Venkataswamy and Mahipala Venkataramana of Metla Colony in Ambajipet mandal revealed that the four were involved in making a fatal assault on Ravuri Chinakotaiah on March 14 last year, who died while undergoing treatment.
DSP L Ankaiah said that the four confessed to the murder of Muddudi Sarojini (80) of Metla colony on February 6 last year.
