Ex-TTD board member to float new political outfit

Tirupati: Now, it is the turn of former TTD trust board member OV Ramana to work for an alternative political force in the State. Ramana said that he is preparing the ground for a new political outfit as an alternative to the existing parties which he said failed to deliver goods.
Speaking to media here on Friday, Ramana said that he is already in touch with leaders of various political parties, who were keen on lending their support to the new alternative for the good of the people of the State.
He said the ruling TDP failed miserably to fulfill its election promises while the main opposition YSRCP too turned unsuccessful in exposing the ruling party misdeeds and the Congress party has been frantically trying to prove its existence. In the process, no one is there to mitigate the suffering of the people, he said explaining the reason for his initiative. Ramana said that a star campaigner also will extend the support to the efforts for a new alternative in the interests of the State. He stated that the new political force would keep away from caste politics and other exploitation tactics and focus only on issues and policy based programmes. Replying a question on whether he is trying to rope in actor Mohan Babu, who is also longing to make a reentry into politics for the good of the people, he said no.
