Cater to needs of tribals, officials told

Visakhapatnam: Collector N Yuvaraj has called upon the public representatives and officials of Agency areas to work with coordination for the all-round development of tribals as the State government has been implementing many welfare schemes.
Presiding over the last governing body meeting of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency for the year 2015-16 at Paderu on Tuesday, the Collector felt that the fruits of all welfare schemes must reach the poor tribals even that of residing at the tail-end or hill-top areas.
The Collector has directed the MDOs to see that there is no water problem in the Agency by taking up repairs to the defunct borewells for which the panchayat funds could be utilised and accordingly he asked the district panchayat officer to issue orders in this regard to the MPDOs.
