Dalits hail CM’s gesture

Vijayawada: Members of the Mala Mahandu and Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) felicitated Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Monday for granting 125 feet Dr Ambedkar statue in the new capital, Amaravati.

Led by the Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Castes Cooperative Finance Corporation Chairman Jupudi Prabhakara Rao, the Mala Mahanadu and MRPS activists thanked the Chief Minister for announcing setting up of Dr Ambedkar’s statue in the capital city Amaravati. They also requested the Chief Minister to speed up the process and ensure that the project is completed at the earliest.

Mala Mahanadu leaders Annavarapu Krishna, Dasi Jayaprakash Kennedy, MRPS leader M S Raju and others were present.
