The Andhra Pradesh government is making all-out efforts to attract pilgrims and tourists to Srisailam, Lord Siva’s adobe, by planning helicopters services, food courts and tiger safari. Well before Krishna Pushkaralu, the State Government is planning to start helicopter services to Srisailam from Gannavaram and Hyderabad. 

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government is making all-out efforts to attract pilgrims and tourists to Srisailam, Lord Siva’s adobe, by planning helicopters services, food courts and tiger safari. Well before Krishna Pushkaralu, the State Government is planning to start helicopter services to Srisailam from Gannavaram and Hyderabad.

The government is expecting big pilgrim rush for the holy dip. With a view to take care of weekend visitiors, the Endowments Department has decided to construct rest rooms on PPP mode and set up a few food courts. It will set up information centres to give fillip to temple tourism.

The Forest Department has taken steps for tiger safari near Dornala. The government also decided to develop Donakonda airport and lay a four-lane road from Donakonda to Srisailam for the convenience of devotees who come from Tamil Nadu.
This benefits devotees coming from Tamil Nadu and Telangana States. Meanwhile, the government has decided to take suggestions of advisor to the State Government Chaganti Koteswara Rao for developing Srisailam.
