Case registered against bank official in gold fraud

An assistant manager of a grameena bank in Vinjamur misappropriated Rs 25 lakh worth gold replacing with fake gold ornaments in the lockers. According to Sub-Inspector of Vinjamur, Sd Rahamtullah is working as assistant manager in local Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank.
Nellore: An assistant manager of a grameena bank in Vinjamur misappropriated Rs 25 lakh worth gold replacing with fake gold ornaments in the lockers. According to Sub-Inspector of Vinjamur, Sd Rahamtullah is working as assistant manager in local Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank.
He managed to open lockers and replaced gold ornaments of 18 farmers, who availed gold loan in the bank, with fake gold ornaments. Manager S Venkata Rao found that the gold ornaments were missing from safe lockers when farmers approached the bank. He lodged a complaint with local police on the incident. Police registered a case.
