Finance Commission members to tour all districts

The 14th Finance Commission member, K Muniratnam Naidu, on Wednesday informed that as per advices of people’s representatives of panchayats and municipalities, we will prepare guidelines to release Finance Commission funds to the local bodies. He addressed a press meet in Z P office in Guntur.
Amaravati: The 14th Finance Commission member, K Muniratnam Naidu, on Wednesday informed that as per advices of people’s representatives of panchayats and municipalities, “we will prepare guidelines to release Finance Commission funds to the local bodies.” He addressed a press meet in Z P office in Guntur.
He said that they would tour in all the districts to know how funds are being spent. He said so far they had toured in Chittoor, Srikakulam, Kurnool and Guntur districts. He said they were taking suggestions and advices of municipal chairmen, ZP chairmen to prepare guidelines to properly spend the funds. Finance Commission members R Sudarsana Rao, Ch Venkateswara Rao and Sandhya Rani were among those participated.
