R&B department to development roads with 24 crore

The Roads and Buildings department will take up development of roads in the district at a cost of Rs 24 crore. Speaking to newsmen here on Tuesday, R&B Superintending Engineer L Srinivasa Reddy said Rs 10 crore was released for construction of roads at bathing ghats in the district for the ensuing Krishna Pushkaralu.

Atmakur-Sivapuram,Sivapuram-Kapileswaram, Nandikotkur-Muchumarri and Nandyal-Nandikotkur roads would be developed at a cost of Rs 14 crore. The widening of roads in Nandikotkur Assembly constituency would ensure hassle-free movement of vehicular traffic during Krishna Pushkaralu, the SE said.
