Muslim family offers talambralu for Sita Rama kalyanam

Ongole: Communal harmony was witnessed at Sita Rama kalyanam at Seetharamachandra Swamy temple at the police quarters in Ongole. A Muslim policeman and his family took part in Sri Rama Navami celebrations here on Friday. Madarvali, ARSI, and his wife, offered ‘talambralu’ to the celestial wedding.

Prakasam District Superintendent of Police Ch Srikanth and his wife offered silk robes to the deities and performed the marriage of divine couple. Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhan, along with his wife Satyalatha, also attended the celebrations to seek blessings of God.
