The Chief Minister has announced the ranks to the Ministers, MLAs based on their performance. Peethala Sujatha, Minister for Mines and Geology, stood first and Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana secured the last rank.

Interestingly, none of them from north Andhra could get ranks in top five. Even senior leaders like Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, K Mrinalini, K Atchnnaidu, P Narayana relegated to last ranks. The government has considered four major points to finalise the ranks-Taking the government schemes into public, training sessions to the party workers, role in strengthening the party in their respective constituencies, setting up of Janmabhoomi Committees- to assess the performance of the Ministers.

Though Atchnnaidu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Narayana, who used to hog the limelight by appearing in the electronic media explaining the government programmes, schemes and taking a dig at the opposition, got poor ratings in the progress report Later, P Narayana responding to the rankings, said that he would improve his performance and style of functioning.
