One person dies as lorry overturns

Jammalamadugu CI Venkata Kumar said G Khasim (49) and his wife Akurbi were waiting at a bus shelter to catch a bus to Jammalamadugu.
A lorry proceeding to Proddatur from Hyderabad with plywood sheets has overturned as the driver lost the control. A few sheets tossed in the air and hit the couple waiting at the bus shelter. Khasim died on the spot and his wife Akurbi sustained severe injuries. She was shifted to Jammalamadugu government hospital.
