Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti activists attack TDP office

Kurnool: Activists of Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) on Saturday attacked the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office here charging Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for not cooperating with them on a classification of SCs into various groups. In the attack, several pieces of furniture, TV, air cooler were damaged.

The MRPS activists also assaulted some of the TDP activists working in the office. In connection with the incident, the three-town police rounded off 10 persons. Later, the TDP central disciplinary committee member Somisetty Venkateswarlu, who visited the TDP office, said that in case of any differences they should be sorted out amicably discussing it with the Chief Minister and maintained that it was atrocious to launch attacks on the party office.

District Superintendent of Police AK Ravikrishna visited the TDP office and said that action against those who attacked the TDP office would be initiated as per the law.
