The Eamcet-16 was conducted on a peaceful note in West Godavari district on Friday. The students seeking admission in engineering and medicine attended the examination in huge numbers. In Eluru, the examination was held in 19 centres. In the engineering examination that was held on Friday morning, as many as 7,139 of 7525 enrolled attended the examination.
Eluru: The Eamcet-16 was conducted on a peaceful note in West Godavari district on Friday. The students seeking admission in engineering and medicine attended the examination in huge numbers. In Eluru, the examination was held in 19 centres. In the engineering examination that was held on Friday morning, as many as 7,139 of 7525 enrolled attended the examination.
For the medical entrance examination that was held in the afternoon, 2865 of 2981 enrolled attended the examinations. The Eluru regional convenor Dr. G Sambasiva Rao said that the examinations went off peacefully in all the 19 centers without any incidents of malpractice. In Bhimavaram, nine centres were set up.
