Tirupati: Tirupati Urban police district will have its first woman SP following the posting of Jayalakshmi as SP of Tirupati Urban.
In a major reshuffle in the Police department on Wednesday, the government transferred SP (Intelligence) R Jayalakshmi and posted as Tirupati Urban SP replacing Gopinath Jatti. Gopinath served as Tirupati Urban SP for 21 months.
