All set for EDCET

Tirupati / Vijayawada: Elaborate arrangements were being for incident-free Education Common Test (EDCET) 2016. According to Prof T Kumara Swamy, convener of EDCET and principal of Institute of Advance Study in Education, SV University said that in all the examination will be held in 27 centres in 18 cities in the State.

In a statement on Saturday, Kumara Swamy said that the question papers were already dispatched to the centres of the examination which will be held from 11 am to 1pm on Monday. A total of 11,707 applied for APEDCE-2016, he said.

Srinivasa Murthy, coordinator for Vijayawada said that there are two centres in the city one at SRR and CVR Government Degree College and other is PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College where, about 887 candidates are likely to appear for the exam.

“As many as 235 candidates are appearing for entrance test in Mathematics, 103 in Physical Science, 151 in Biological Science, 369 in Social studies, and 29 candidates are going to appear for English entrance test. The test will be held from 11 am to 1 pm. Aspirants can download hall tickets from www.apedcet.org,” he added.
