Hyderabad: Light to moderate to rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in the coastal districts and Seema on May 22,23, 24 and 25, once the cyclonic storm ‘Roanu’ crosses the Bangladesh coast.
The Met office said on Saturday that the cyclonic storm over the north-west Bay of Bengal moved east-northeastwards at a speed of 40 kmph during the past six hours and lay centred at 8.30 am over north Bay, about 270 km east-southeast of Sagar Island (West Bengal), 55 km south of Khepupara (Bangladesh) and 180 km west-southwest of Chittagong.
