Amaravati: Supreme Court Judge Justice Lavu Nageswara Rao on Sunday felt that adopting a village means not merely developing
infrastructure like roads and providing drinking water facility in the village.

He said he wants people in the village to be happy. He visited his native and adopted village under model village scheme,
Pedanandipadu, under Prattipadu Assembly constituency on Sunday. Addressing a meeting held in Pedanandipadu Zilla Parishad High
School, he said that he has no enemies so far and suggested to people to discard anger. He said that reduction of anger benefited him
and added that he was very happy to come to his native village.

He urged the students to act spontaneously and do hard work to come up in the life. Later, he distributed certificates to those who
underwent training in tailoring, embroidery and painting etc in the summer coaching classes.

Later, Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu and villagers felicitated Justice Lavu Nageswara Rao and his wife Siva Kumari. Earlier,
he performed Puja in the Valli Devasena temple in the village. As soon as he entered the temple, the officials welcomed him.
Minister Ravela thanked Justice Nageswara Rao for adopting and developing infrastructure in Pedanandipadu village.
