Vijayawada: The city schools excelled in Class X examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). St Mathew’s Public School, Patamata, achieved cent per cent results in the examinations. School principal Br Chinnappa Reddy on Saturday said 254 students appeared for the examinations from NSM this year. Out of the total, 62 students scored 10 Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA). The number of students who scored 9.8 to 9 CGPA was 84. The remaining students also got a good CGPA. He congratulated the students for their excellent performance in the CBSE examinations.

Delhi Public School, Vijayawada, also scored 100 per cent results in the CBSE examinations. Out of the total 117 students appeared for the exams, 21 achieved 10 CGPA and 60 above 9 CGPA. School pro-vice chairman P Narendra Babu and dean SB Rao congratulated the students for their good show in the CBSE exams.

As many as 95 students of Nalanda Vidya Niketan scored 10 out of 10 Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) in Class X examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). School correspondent A Vijaya Babu on Saturday said Nalanda achieved cent per cent results in the examinations. Out of the total 307 students who appeared for the exams, 95 scored the maximum 10 CGPA and 201 above 9 CGPA. The self-learning concept of teaching introduced in Nalanda for the first time in the State, yielded excellent results, he said. Vijaya Babu, school principal Mousumi Banerjee and teaching staff congratulated the students for excelling in the CBSE exams.
