Chief Minister to present DSC appointment letters
Elaborate arrangements are being made to hold a mega function of presenting DSC appointment letters by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada on June 1 as it was the first DSC exam conducted after the State bifurcation.

HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao told reporters here on Sunday that the Chief Minister would administer an oath to all the DSC candidates on that day and experts and scholars like Pattabhiram and Chaganti Koteswara Rao would render valuable messages on the occasion to help mould the candidates as the best teachers.
On the lines of 2K and 5K Runs organised earlier, Night Marathon would be organised on July 22 for which a committee had been constituted to oversee the arrangements. About the International Yoga Day on June 21, he informed that it would be conducted on a large scale in which nearly 10,000 persons perform Yoga Asanas on the Rama Krishna Beach road and arrangements would be made to facilitate one lakh people to witness the event.
The Minister informed that a three-man committee had been constituted with the higher officials from technical institutions, Department of Higher Education and universities to check the facilities available in engineering colleges and to confirm whether the reports submitted by engineering colleges were correct.
He said basing on the individual college reports, the government had finalised the pay structure and stringent action would be taken in case of any college submitting a false report.
