Fighting against graft, not development, says Subba Reddy
YSRCP leader and Ongole MP Y V Subba Reddy said that his party will keep on fighting the “corruption” of the TDP government, but not against the development of the State. Speaking to media here on Sunday, Subba Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister and his team of Ministers resorted to more than Rs 1 lakh crore of corruption in the capital area.
Ongole: YSRCP leader and Ongole MP Y V Subba Reddy said that his party will keep on fighting the “corruption” of the TDP government, but not against the development of the State. Speaking to media here on Sunday, Subba Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister and his team of Ministers resorted to more than Rs 1 lakh crore of corruption in the capital area.
Many of the Cabinet members and his family members bought hundreds of acres before the announcement of capital in the surrounding area and they are involved in many scams now. Speaking about his party MLAs joining TDP, the MP said, “The ruling party is making false promises to the YSRCP MLAs, that it will adjust constituencies after delimitation of Assembly constituencies in the State.
But the election commission had clearly stated there will be no delimitation until 2016 unless there is a special act by the Central government. If the Centre tries to do that, there would be requests from other States also, which would make it difficult for Centre.”
