Collector directs nodal officers to make arrangements from village to district-level as CM will be administering pledge on June 2

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector instructed nodal officials to invite people from all walks of life to participate in the Nava Nirmana Deeksha. He asked the nodal officers to monitor the arrangements from village to district-level as Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will administer pledge with people on June 2.

The officers should make an effort for involving people’s associations, student organisations, voluntary organisations and Self Help Groups in the programme, he said. He also ordered the officials to get ready for the activities to be conducted from June 3 to 7. The Collector asked the nodal officials to prepare a booklet explaining the success achieved by State after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

The booklet should contain the problems faced by the State, its achievements, development and welfare activities, industrial development and future plans. He further said the Nava Nirmana Deeksha would conclude on June 8. Vijay Mohan directed officials concerned to prepare a report to be given to a committee comprising 20 MLAs, who will be visiting Kurnool on June 3.

The report should focus on the firing of Excise department in Siddapuram village, developing the Gajuladinna project as a tourist spot, 30-bed hospital at Velugodu, construction of permanent buildings to degree colleges at Banganapalle, MIS utilisation of funds in DCCB, he said.

The Collector instructed all the department officials to take measures for effective implementation of planting tree saplings in government offices, educational institutions, irrigation tanks, lakes and at open places on June 13. He asked DWMA Project Director to install bore recharge structures at NTR Jala Siri. Joint Collector-2 Rama Swamy, DRO Gangadhar and departmental heads were present.
