Kakinada Government General Hospital doctors, staff continue stir on 5th day
The staff and doctors of Kakinada Government General Hospital (KGGH) continued their protest demonstration on the hospital premises on the fifth day on Tuesday. They demanded the arrest of those responsible for the assault on duty doctor S Aruna Kumari at RICU in the hospital on Thursday. They continued their protest demonstration for one hour and later attended to their duties.
Kakinada: The staff and doctors of Kakinada Government General Hospital (KGGH) continued their protest demonstration on the hospital premises on the fifth day on Tuesday. They demanded the arrest of those responsible for the assault on duty doctor S Aruna Kumari at RICU in the hospital on Thursday. They continued their protest demonstration for one hour and later attended to their duties.
Later, they submitted a memorandum to District Collector and Hospital Development Committee (HDC) Chairman H Arun Kumar seeking immediate arrest of those responsible for the assault. The skin of the patient said to be responsible for the assault are at large. Joint Action Committee members Dr U Sudheer and Dr K Lakshmoji Naidu said on Tuesday that they would intensify the agitation by boycotting duties if no action was initiated by Wednesday.
