The city police are diverting the traffic from Wednesday morning to afternoon in different parts of the city to mark the Nava Nirmana Deeksha programme conducted by the Krishna district administration at Benz Circle. No vehicle is allowed to Benz circle junction from morning due to a participation of thousands of people in the Nava Nirmana Deekha, a programme of the State government. 

Vijayawada: The city police are diverting the traffic from Wednesday morning to afternoon in different parts of the city to mark the Nava Nirmana Deeksha programme conducted by the Krishna district administration at Benz Circle. No vehicle is allowed to Benz circle junction from morning due to a participation of thousands of people in the Nava Nirmana Deekha, a programme of the State government.

The police authorities have arranged parking slots in different places for the convenience of visitors. Traffic restrictions will continue until afternoon. Important parking places are Nirmala Convent School, PB Siddhartha Academy, Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala, Siddhartha School, Siddhartha Hotel Management campus, Patamata ZP High School, Krishnalanka Feeder Road, the open ground near Doordarshan quarter.

No vehicle is allowed from D V Manor junction to Benz circle and NTR statue to Benz circle on Wednesday morning. Vehicles travelling from Machilipatnam to Pandit Nehru Bus Station will be diverted via Eluru road. The vehicles will be diverted at Tadigadapa and reach the national highway and reach Ramavappadu junction and finally go to PNBS.

Vehicles going from Pandit Nehru bus station to Machilipatnam will be diverted via Elur road, Ramavarappadu junction, Tadigadapa and Bandar road. Vehicles travelling between Pandit Nehru Bus Station and Guntur will be passed as usual via Krishnalanka highway road. Vehicles coming from Hyderabad to Vijayawada will be diverted via Milk Project, Meesala Rajeswara Rao bridge, Gandhi Nagar and will reach PNBS.

Vehicles travelling from PNBS to Hyderabad will pass via K Market, Chitti Nagar,Sitara junction and reach Gollapudi highway. Vehicles travelling between Kolkata-Chennai, Chennai-Kolkata, Hyderabad-Vizag, Vizag-Hyderabad, Hyderabad-Chennai and Chennai-Hyderabad will be diverted through either other Mandal of Krishna district or other districts like Nalgonda, West Godavari, Guntur as per the convenience.
