Andhra University registrar conducts surprise checks

Visakhapatnam: Andhra University registrar Prof V Umamaheswara Rao conducted surprise checks on Wednesday in various departments following the change in timings.
He spoke to the superintendents and took the details of those attending duties and those abstaining from duties.
He made it clear that nobody should abstain from duties without prior permission and asked the superintendents to send details regularly to him.
The registrar cautioned that dereliction of duty will not be tolerated and the daily staff attendance report should be send to the assistant registrar and deputy registrar.
Deputy registrar Aadilakshmi and others accompanied the registrar.
