NBW issued against Prathipati, 4 others

The Guntur Railway Judicial Magistrate Court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant on Wednesday against Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao, MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad, former MLA and TDP leader S M Ziauddin, YSRC leader Lella Appi Reddy and Congress leader Lingamsetty Eswara Rao for not attending the court in connection with the ‘rail roko’ case booked against them in 2014.
Amaravati: The Guntur Railway Judicial Magistrate Court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant on Wednesday against Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao, MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad, former MLA and TDP leader S M Ziauddin, YSRC leader Lella Appi Reddy and Congress leader Lingamsetty Eswara Rao for not attending the court in connection with the ‘rail roko’ case booked against them in 2014.
The Agriculture Minister and others took part in the rail roko and forcibly stopped trains opposing the bifurcation of the State in 2014. RPF officials filed a charge-sheet in the court. Guntur Railway Protection Force Circle Inspector D Srinivasa Rao said, “We will execute NBW against them within two days.”
