Chittoor: Minister Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy stated that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is making all efforts to develop the State as a model one.

He gave a call to people to extend cooperation for strengthening the hands of the Chief Minister. Bojjala participated as a chief guest for Nava Nirmana Deeksha held at Gandhi Centre here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that every person in the State should take an oath for developing backward villages.

The Minister stated that the TDP government is giving high priority for agriculture and industries sectors. He asked the ruling TDP leaders to play an active role for State development. “We have to rededicate ourselves for the development of truncated AP development on Nava Nirmana Deeksha Day.

The State has to pass through several challenges with limited financial resources.

The BJP-led NDA government should fulfil its promise of granting special category status to AP,” he added.
Referring to the remarks of YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Bojjala condemned the allegations of opposition leader against the Chief Minister and TDP leaders.

He assured farmers that his government will safeguard their interests. In Chittoor district, the government has waived Rs 1,430 crore loans under farm under debt waiver scheme.

He made a scathing attack on Jagan for opposing the irrigation projects and developmental works in the State.

Chittoor MP Dr N Sivaprasad said that he made all efforts in the Parliament to stall State bifurcation. Chittoor MLA DA Satyaprabha has presided over the meeting. ZP Chairperson Girvani, TDP district president G Srinivasulu, in-charge Mayor Subramanyam and other leaders spoke on the occasion.

Later, the Minister administered an oath with participants of Nava Nirmana Deeksha.
