The Chief Minister appealed to all sections of people in the State to take part in the Maha Sankalpam on June 8 and renew their commitment towards building the new state of Andhra Pradesh. Addressing officials through a teleconference as part of Nava Nirmana Deeksha on Sunday, the Chief Minister said the fruits of welfare and development programmes should reach the beneficiaries.

He asked public representatives and the officials to propagate the achievements of the government in the last two years. Naidu pointed on a need for effective and strong leadership in every field for delivering good governance and to increase the happiness index of the people. Only through hard work and commitment Andhra Pradesh will become the model State for the country he said. He appealed to every member of the society to come forward for the development and upliftment of the poor.
