Kurnool: Kurnool MLA SV Mohan Reddy urged the people to take part in development of Kurnool as well as in building of Navyaandhra.
He was speaking here on Wednesday on the concluding day of Nava Nirmana Deeksha.

He alleged that bifurcation was done unilaterally, which hearing out the views of Andhra people.

Reddy said the government had sanctioned Rs 200 crore for the development of Kurnool constituency.The sanctioned funds would be utilised for laying of roads, providing drinking water besides power supply and other amenities.

Many major factories are likely to be established in the district, which in turn would generate employment to the unemployed youths. Reddy urged everyone to cooperate to transform the district into green district by planting a tree.

MP TG Venkatesh assured people to generate employment for youth by setting up major factories, which were due for establishment for some period now. He sought people’s cooperation for developmental activities being taken up by the State government. District Collector Challa Vijay Mohan said, Nava Nirmana Deeksha was taken up in the entire State.

Everyone should strive for developing a bright future for the State. It is also the responsibility of everyone to play a vital role in bringing the district to the top he added. He sought suggestions from everyone for the development of the State and district in particular.

Joint Collector Hari Kiran urged the students to give their valuable suggestions t for better future for the people of the State. Joint Collector-II Ramaswamy Municipal Commissioner Ravindra Babu were among others who were present at the meeting.
