Ramzan: Staff to leave workplace early

To permit the Muslim employees and workers, working in various State government offices, schools, and colleges, to leave workplace at 4 p.m. during the month of Ramzan to perform rituals, a government order was released on Wednesday. The special permission would be applicable between June 7 and July 6, the order added.

In a press release issued here on Wednesday, the All Minority Employees Welfare Association State secretary M Imam Basha said the government orders were applicable to even regular, contract and outsourcing Muslim employees and workers working in various government departments. He thanked the government for issuing the GO.
