Amaravati: Minister for Medical and Health Kamineni Srinivas said that the government will provide facilities to perform heart and kidney transplant surgeries in all the government hospitals.

Patients from poor economic background will benefit if heart and kidney transplant surgeries are performed in government hospitals. Even more the hospital will also develop he said and added that the Government General Hospital GGH will get Rs1.40 crore revolving fund for the development of hospital. The Minister paid a visit to the GGH in Guntur on Friday.

He met Yedukondalu who underwent heart transplant surgery and enquired about his health. He appreciated the doctors at the GGH for successfully performing heart transplant surgery.

Later interacting with media Kamineni said that the government would modernise 212 Primary Health Centres PHC in the State to provide better medical services to the poor patients. We will purchase 278 new vehicles for 108 services and will set up health ATMs soon he added.
