Isolated heavy rain forecast for coastal districts
Thunderstorms with squall are likely to occur at isolated places in the coastal districts and Rayalaseema on June 12, the Met office warned on Saturday, as the trough from Chhattisgarh to south Tamil Nadu across Telangana and Rayalaseema is persisting.

The forecast said heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, East & West Godavari, Krishna,
Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore districts on June 12.
Light to moderate rain/thundershowers may occur at isolated places in the coastal districts and at a few places in Rayalaseema from June 12 to 15. There will be no large change in the weather outlook during the subsequent two days. During the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Saturday, rain occurred at isolated places in the two regions, with Kalyandrug in Anantapur district receiving three cm of rainfall.
