Pithapuram (East Godavari): A motorcyclist was severely injured when a speeding car hit his vehicle on the bypass road on Saturday.
According to the police, the car proceeding to Kakinada from Narsipatnam crashed into the adjacent fields and overturned after hitting
Vajrapu Ravindra, a painter who was travelling on a bike.
The grievously injured Ravindra was shifted to Kakinada Government Hospital. The two occupants of the car escaped with minor injuries.
They were treated at a local hospital. A case has been registered.
