Over 50 rythu bazaars to get a facelift
Agriculture Marketing office started functioning from Guntur city on Wednesday and all the employees attended to their duties. The Commissioner of Agriculture marketing department P Mallikarjuna Rao signed a few files to mark the beginning of the office.

He said that they have collected Rs 65 crore marketing fee till May 31 in the State and said they have taken steps to renovate 51 rythu bazaars in the State. Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that they will set up 80 rythu bazaars in the State within three months.
He said that they are ready to set up rythu bazaars in Thullur, Velagapudi and surrounding mandals and further said that they are waiting for proposals from the officials concerned to set up rythu bazaars in Amaravati.
