Accused in girl suicide case held

Kurnool: The One Town police arrested one person in connection with the suicide of a girl here on Friday. Disclosing the details to the media here on Saturday, SP Ake Ravi Krishna said, Kishore, a native of Konedela village of Nandikotkur mandal, is working as Territory Sales Manager in Idea Telecom at Tadipatri in Anantapur district.
According to the SP, Kishore developed friendship with a female employee Golla Surekha and started living together at Madam Compound in Kurnool. Kishore was already married and his wife came to know about his illicit affair with Surekha. She then pressurised her husband to relocate to Tadipatri. It is said that Surekha had been insisting Kishore on marrying her. Following which, Kishore began to threaten Surekha that he would post her photos on social networking sites. Vexed over Kishore's attitude, Surekha committed suicide by hanging self to a ceiling fan on April 27 at her residence in Madam Compound.
A police team led by DSP D V Ramana Murthy, One Town CI B R Krishnaiah, SI Chiranjeevi and others nabbed the accused in Kallur on Friday. The SP appreciated the police personnel for nabbing the accused.
