2 killed 17 hurt in two accidents
Two speeding autos collided near China Dornala of Dornala mandal. Shaik Khajavali and Guravaiah of Kanaganapalli village who were travelling in the same auto died on the spot while six others travelling in the two autos were injured. The local police shifted the bodies to the Dornala Hospital for postmortem while the injured were given treatment.
Ongole: Two persons were killed and 17 people were injured in two road mishaps occurred in Prakasam district on Sunday. The injured were shifted to the nearby hospitals for treatment.

In another incident, about 15 fishermen and women from Ramayapatnam Pallepalem boarded an auto to buy fish at Pakala village and sell in the nearby villages early in the morning. The auto overturned on NH 16 at Balireddy Nagar in Singarayakonda.
The auto driver, Kondababu, and seven others were severely injured while four persons received minor injuries. The severely injured were shifted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Ongole and the doctors announced that the hands and legs of six people were fractured in the accident.
