Amaravati: Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao launched Yeruvaka programme in Dhulipala village under Sattenapalli Assembly constituency and Medikondur mandal under Narasaraopet Assembly constituency.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that the government led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was committed for the welfare of farmers and it will supply fertilisers besides giving modern equipment on subsidy to the farmers to reduce cost of cultivation. He urged the farmers to avail the facility provided by the government and get benefitted.

He said the government was committed to the welfare of farmers. As part of its effort, the government waived crop loans for the welfare of farmers, in spite of severe financial crisis.

Meanwhile, the Minister for Social Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu conducted Yeruvaka programme in Palaparru village in Pedanandipadu mandal of Guntur district. Speaking on this occasion, he said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would distribute Rytu Runa Upasamana Patras to the farmers in Prakasam district on June 22.

He reminded that the government would give Pattiseema water for Kharif to Krishna delta to start kharif in advance and added that the government was trying to make agriculture viable and suggested the farmers to adopt modern technology in agriculture.
