Tanuku: A 30-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling at a private hospital here on Sunday.
The police identified the deceased as Juttiga Nagaraju of Edara village at Tatipaka mandal in East Godavari district. The police said that Nagaraju, on the pretext of going for a walk, slipped out of the ward. He was later found hanging to the ceiling at 4.30 a.m on Sunday.
The police said that Nagaraju, who had a surgery on his shoulder, was undergoing treatment since June 9. Unable to bear the pain, he allegedly committed suicide.
