Kakinada: Loans worth Rs 9.35 crore were disbursed to 510 beneficiaries at Kapu loan mela organised at SRMT Function Hall here on Friday.
Speaking to the media, BC Corporation executive director M Jyoti said loans worth Rs 300 crore would be disbursed to 15,000 Kapu beneficiaries in the district soon. She said of the total Rs 300 crore, Rs 150 crore would be disbursed as subsidy and the remaining
Rs 150 crore would be disbursed as bank loans.Kakinada city MLA V Venkateswara Rao handed over assets and sanction letters to some of the beneficiaries. Municipal Commissioner S Aleem Basha and TDP leaders were present.
