Amaravati: Minister for Agriculture Prattipati Pulla Rao on Saturday inaugurated Agriculture Commissioner’s office at Chuttugunta Centre in Guntur city. Speaking on the occasion, he announced that State Agriculture Commissioner would work from Guntur city from Saturday. He said 300 employees had been shifted to Guntur from Hyderabad.
It may be mentioned here that Marketing Commissioner's office and Co-operative Department Commissioner's office were shifted to Guntur. Women and Child Welfare Department office and Intermediate Education Commissioner's office will be shifted to the city soon. Minister Ravela Kishore Babu, MP Galla Jayadev, MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy were among those participated.
