Kurnool: Superintendent of Police Ake Ravi Krishna paid homage to constable Srinivasa Raju, who died of kidney and diabetic ailment, on Sunday. The deceased Srinivsa Raju was said to be taking treatment at Global Hospital in Hyderabad.

Ravi Krishna said that the deceased, who belonged to 1983 batch, was discharging duties at Kurnool Police Control Room. The Superintendent of Police over Rs15, 000 for funeral expenses to the deceased’s wife Hasvini.

On this occasion, Ravi Krishna handed over the order copies of employment to six members employed on compensate grounds as home guards. He said the home guards should bring name and fame to the police department by discharging duties responsibly.

Home Guards Commandant Chandra Mouli, DSP Krishna Mohan, RSI Ranganath Babu, Unit In-charge Subbanna and Nageshwar Reddy were present on the occasion.
