Teachers told to sensitise students on our statute

Pithapuram: Senior Civil Judge Ammanna Raja has called upon teachers to pay attention to creating awareness among students about the Indian Constitution, rights and duties of a citizen. He was participating as the chief guest at a programme held under the aegis of the District Legal Services Authority at the BM Rao Government Girls’ High School here on Wednesday.

He distributed prizes among winners of essay-writing competition held for students of classes eighth, ninth and tenth on fundamental rights and fundemantal duties. Ninth class students B Sriya, S Chadvika and Veeralakshmi bagged the first three prizes respectively in the essay-writing competition.
