Speaking on the occasion, college principal G Parthasarathi Varma on Friday said the college received a rare recognition. He said the college can now take up joint projects with the coordination of various government departments. He said Andhra University had already recognised the college as the research centre and the students are taking up research at the centre.
Bhimavaram: The Ministry of Science and Technology had recognised SRKR Engineering College in Bhimavaram as scientific and industrial research organisation.

He stated that Ministry of Human Development Resources had awarded 73rd rank in national level and NAAC sanctioned ‘A’ grade to the college for imparting quality education among students.
