Congress party in-charge for Prathipadu constituency in East Godavari district, Parvata Purnachandra Prasad on Monday made the switch and joined the YSR Congress party.
The Congress leader, who had contested in 2014 elections from Prathipadu constituency joined the party along with PCC official spokesperson Kumar Raju, other Congress leaders, and party workers in the presence of President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Purnachandra Prasad assured that they would put in efforts to strengthen YSRCP in the Parathion constituency and East Godavari district.
