Speaking on the occasion, the Collector instructed the officials concerned to speed up construction of bathing ghats prior to the launch of Krishna Pushkaralu.

The Collector told officials that he will be inspecting ongoing works on a regular basis. He instructed them to deploy additional manpower for the early completion of the works.

He also told officials to arrange temporary toilets near the bathing ghats and a parking space for the VIPs vehicles on the left side of the ghats. He asked the Panchyat Raj Superintendent Engineer to take up the clearing works in the two acres of forest land about a kilo metre from the Sangameswaram temple for alloting the parking space to RTC busses besides private vehicles.

Vijay Mohan instructed the APSPDCL Superintendent Engineer Bhargav Rao to provide lightening facility in and around the proposed site by installing transformers, electric poles and other required instruments on a war-foot basis.

The Collector also inspected the quality of the tiles used for the flooring at the bathing ghats. He said to officials to set up stages for cultural programmes and Dwcra Bazaars. He asked to stop laying the new road leading to the Sangameswaram and ordered to continue with the old one.

The Collector expressed satisfaction over the ongoing works and assured completion by the end of July. Prior to inspecting Puskaralu works at Sangameswaram, he inspected the reconstruction of Veerabhadra Swamy temple works at Alur
village.

SE Chitti Babu, Endowment Deputy Commissioner Gayatri Devi, R&B Superintendent Engineer Srinivas Reddy too accompanied the Collector.
