Visakhapatnam: Joint Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Nagendra Kumar underscored the need for implementation of value-based moral education from the school curriculum itself to help change the mindset of youths with high professional values and to ensure corruption-free society.

He was addressing the members of the Citizen Forum at a programme organised here on Sunday. Stating that the existing Acts were enough to deal with regard to the cases of ‘Disproportionate Assets’, Nagendra Kumar clarified that if persons involved in such cases remit taxes for the assets unearthed after submitting the documents to the government, there would be no problems.

TDP MLA PGVR Naidu said that public awareness on corruption was a must. Lauding the services of former JD of CBI Lakshminarayana, he called upon the youth to take the inspiration from him to lead a honourable life. “Similarly, we are all proud of having Vizagite Nagendra Kumar as ACB JD,” he added.
