Speaking to the reporters in Hyderabad, Botsa Satyanarayana said that the YSRCP has assured complete support for any resolution for the cause of special status in the past and that the party would continue its support but added that a special Bill on the issue was not necessary.

The YSRCP leader further said that the Telugu Desam Party had been stalling the issue but YSR Congress party would always be ahead in the fight to attain special status.

He also questioned as to why the special status issue has not been taken up so far.
